Great opportunity to get away from the usual tourist areas of the city, and to experience the real Saigon neighborhoods where people live. The cameras were fantastic and fun to use, and with the help of Tu it’s easy to get to know the locals and take some beautiful portraits of people, as well as pictures of buildings and sights. Some knowledge of analogue photography is helpful but not necessary, as Tu will help show you what to do.

This tour was amazing! We did this one as a father/son day out and Tu and his team were nothing short of spectacualr. The vintage cameras were a joy to learn about and actually use, so cool! Tu has a personal connection when the people you will see on this tour which makes it extra special as they will take time to chat with you and let you get a sneak peek into true local life. The history of the buildings and coffee shop was fascinating and the overall experience was 10/10. Stop considering and just book this tour, you won’t regret it!

Okay seriously book this tour! I myself was hesitant to book it at first since I had very limited time in Ho Chi Minh but I’m so glad I did! Tu legit took time to explain everything related to film photography and went above and beyond the entire day to make sure I had a great time since it was the first day of Tet and most of the businesses were closed! I legit walked away that day with a new friend! I seriously recommend anyone interested in this tour to book it and not hesitate, it’s more than just a film photo walk tour! I would definitely recommend that anyone who comes to Ho Chi Minh takes this tour. it's a wonderful break from the usual tourist hotspots whilst still remaining an excellent way to see the city and learn so much more about Vietnam. Tu is super friendly, personalises the visit according to each individual and had a wonderful relationship with the locals and the city. although we spent 4hrs together, there was not a single full moment.

This unique experience was more than what I expected! You start the day off at Tu’s shop to choose your camera, have a camera lesson and listen to a brief history of the city. Then you go for a quick drive by motorcycle or car to another location for photography. Tu is a great social connector in his neighborhood. It was fun to speak to the locals and get photographs of areas that you would otherwise not have the pleasure of seeing as a tourist.
